No one likes waiting in line! Last May we launched a waiting list for photo sessions with Amy and have seen that list grow to include hundreds of names. We know that you are coming to Amy for a variety of reasons, such as affordable pricing, included high-resolution digital images for you to keep forever, and her personable nature. We also know that many of you are very interested in pursuing your own child and family photography, and we want to tap into your potential.
We have a vision of affordable yet professional child and family photographers with a style similar to Amy’s, collaborating throughout the Chicagoland area, capturing beautiful memories for families and yes – including the high-resolution digital proofs with each session. We have spent the past 2 years fine-tuning our business model, and we want to provide the back-office necessities of running a small business to other photographers. You capture and edit the photos, we take care of the rest – from publishing them online to paying taxes and filing reports.
Our vision is to continue to provide photo sessions with Amy, along with the option to work with other qualified and personable photographers who provide the same valuable services, such as affordable pricing and the inclusion of high-resolution images with each session. We would allow clients to choose which photographer to sign up with. When they attempt to select a session online, they will be able to choose which photographer they want, after which they will see a list of that particular photographer’s available sessions.

Associate Photographer Description and Responsibilities
- Responsibilities include photographing children and families, keeping careful digital archives, post-processing images, and uploading final proofs to online servers
- Proficiency in digital SLR photography, post-processing (Photoshop CS3 or CS4 preferred), the internet, and email
- Provide own photographic equipment (camera, lenses, software, etc.)
- Willing to travel using own car and gas
- Provide own high-speed internet
- All scheduling and photo sessions will be done through Amy Tripple Photography
- Schedule is flexible to fit your availability
- Access to Amy’s home studio if desired
- Since most photo sessions involve working with children, criminal background checks may be run on applicants
- Must be a team-player, comfortable and engaging with children, and have a passion for capturing families’ memories

Melody - Will we be able to get Amy for our sessions or will clients be randomly given to other photographers? I searched for Amy and am happy to wait for sessions to open for her quality.
Amy - Good question! Our vision is to allow you to choose which photographer to sign up with. We would not randomly assign you a photographer, but when you go to select a session online, you will choose which photographer you want, after which you will see their list of available sessions. We intend to hire only quality photographers with a style similar to Amy’s in order to give you an option if you so choose. – Jonathan
lisa kim - I think this is a great idea. actually since Amy was booked up we were going to try and find another photographer. Since these kids keep growing we couldn’t wait for the next opening. We searched so hard for someone like Amy, if there are a few photographers to choose from with Amy’s stamp of approval I think that’s great and leaves less work for myself. I hope you guys find someone soon!
