Introducing… “Sweet Beginnings” | Downers Grove Newborn Photographer

Capturing newborns, only days into their lives, is one of the greatest honors of what I do.  As I’m working with these teeny souls, I often think of how their own children will hold these pictures someday to compare features, searching for similarities across the generations.  There’s a certain timelessness that each newborn exhibits, and it’s always been my goal to capture that in my work.

As I’ve grown in my experience and ability, my demand for newborn sessions has grown as well.  However (as anyone who’s brought in a newborn will tell you) they’re very different from your typical portrait session.  To achieve beautiful newborn portraits, the photographer and parents must be willing to work s.l.o.w.l.y., at the pace of the baby.  We take many eating and snuggle breaks in order to keep the babies content and comfortable.  Because of this, we’ve decided to divide the business into two sections… the first, “Amy Tripple Photography”,  and the second, “Sweet Beginnings”.  We’ve adjusted the prices of newborn sessions to reflect the session length, props, experience, and editing time required to produce a full gallery of gorgeous, timeless newborn portraits.
