Jump for joy… it’s almost here!!! : )

That’s right you guys… 22 hours till the fall sessions open up!!!  As many of you already know, 7 a.m. on booking day is one of Jonathan and my favorite times… it’s our date at the kitchen table with steaming hot coffee cups and an open laptop, watching the names of families we love to come through our online scheduler.  YAY!  So, the question is… will it be Starbucks Breakfast Blend or Dunkin Donuts freshly ground?  Hee hee hee… decisions, decisions. : )

Let’s hit a few specifics to make sure everyone’s got their game on for the morning…

1.  If you don’t have your credit card information entered into the online scheduler, you’ll want to do that today.  Otherwise, it will ask you to do it before you make your appointment, and (as fall booking usually goes…) that could mean that your time will get snatched up by the time you’ve gotten it entered.

2.  For those of you who haven’t updated your information on the online scheduler in awhile, it would be awesome if you’d go ahead and do that today as well.  Specifically, could you guys check out your kids’ names and birthdays for me?  When I plan for your sessions, I look at those to see how old the babies and kids are… it helps me to know what kinds of locations to suggest, props to bring, etc…  For birthdays, we’re looking for actual days of birth:

Correct birthday examples:

Bobby – 03/04/97  |  Bobby – March 4, 1997  |  Bobby – 03-04-1997  |  etc…

Incorrect birthday examples:

Bobby  |  Bobby – 3 months old  |  Bobby – March 4  |  etc…

Bottom line? Name, birthday, and year.  Thanks guys!!! : )

3.  Because I’m such a dork, I couldn’t help but put a countdown timer on the blog.  Seriously, go over there and look at it (if you’re reading this in an e-mail)… it’s in the right hand column!   Humor me… it took me FOREVER to figure out how to install a real-live widget and get it working.  I was kinda proud of myself. : )

I’m not gonna gab on and on today… I’ve been trying to avoid that since my essay last week.  But quickly, let me just say a huge thank you for all of the amazingly kind and supportive e-mails and comments from last week.  You guys rock… you just warm my heart so much.
