So… : )

We’ve been doing a bit of scheming these days… FUN and EXCITING scheming!!!  I’ve been working hard giving our Sweet Shots website a major facelift to make it TONS better… It’s now 1) a whole lot cuter, 2) filled with lots more information, and 3) interactive (yep… there’s a FORUM now for Sweet Shots participants… I’m SO excited about it’s potential!).

How will we celebrate this fantastic new website, you’re wondering?!?  I’m so glad you asked!!! : )  We’re gonna do a honkin’ big contest, that’s how!  One with really FAB prizes (they’re fab cause I picked them myself, hee hee)!

We’d love to get the word out to every parent in Chicago and its surrounding suburbs about these fantastic DSLR classes- so many parents own great cameras but have absolutely no idea how to use them to *really* capture their babies.  So… we’ve created a “fan page” on Facebook to get the word out, we’ve had about a bazillion beautiful postcards printed up, and we need your help to spread the word!

We’re going to be doing a drawing for over $500 worth of prizes… did that get your attention?   Good!  It’s gonna be super-fun, and there are plenty of chances to win something truly awesome!

The Rules:

Each of the following five tasks will earn you a certain number of points in the drawing.  Points are like tickets in a raffle… the more points you earn, the better your chances of winning great stuff!!!  We’ll keep track of everyone’s points and have a drawing on the evening of Friday, February 25.  Be sure to follow the instructions and leave your full name when you post comments on Facebook or send us e-mails, or your points probably won’t count (unless you’re the ONLY person with your name…). : )

This is basically the closest thing to advertising I’ve ever done (we’ve always been so blessed by your incredible word-of-mouth referrals!), but it made a LOT more sense to me to let you guys have some fun rather than paying some random newspaper. : )

I’m really not a toot-my-own-horn kind of girl, but I do think it’s worth noting that I truly believe these classes are among the best ones out there for parents with DSLRs.  The curriculum was written from the perspective of 1) a mom who LOVES getting great shots of her kiddos, and 2) a girl who knows exactly how it feels to open up a brand new DSLR manual only to shut it in frustration 5 seconds later.

There’s a LOAD of experience, passion, knowledge, heart, and humor that backs up the Sweet Shots curriculum, and I wrote it hoping that it would give other parents exactly what they need to use their DSLRs for the main reason they purchased them… to get *amazing* shots of their babies and kiddos!!!
