Sweet Summertime… Chicago Children’s Photographer

Summer is…

the birds singing before dawn,

a library book club,

the backyard kiddie pool,

grassy, dirty feet,

dry, fresh clothes,

a snuggle on the couch,

pancakes for dinner,

a bubble bath,

a little book,

nighttime prayers,

open windows,

and

the smell of baby shampoo in damp hair.

I don’t ever want to forget what it’s like to be a mommy of little ones in the sweet summertime.

Speaking of summer… how darling were these little ones?

Their little girl is at the age when a good surprise is just about the only thing you can do to capture amazing, authentic pictures.

I think we got her. : )
