Sometimes You Just Gotta Laugh : )

Well hey there! : )

Yeah, it’s been awhile.  Life has been marching along quite quickly these past few weeks… my two oldest started school (both full-day!) and I must admit that the extra time I’ve had to catch up on all things “photography” has been amazing.  If you’ve tried to get in touch these past few weeks, but you haven’t heard from me yet, know that I’m plowing through e-mails at a rapid rate these days and will be getting in touch shortly!

I’ve also been trying to put some new energy into being a mom. : )  With the oldest two in school for seven hours, five days a week, I feel as though I’ve got a bit of extra energy to spare!  One little goal I’ve had for myself this year is to pop cute notes into their lunch boxes each day, complete with a funny little joke that’s (hopefully!) on their humor-level.  My hand was getting tired writing out jokes every day, though, so I came up with these little printables and thought I’d share… these are 16 cutie-pie jokes that I’ve gathered from just about everywhere.  If you want to use them yourself, just click the image below to download them, print ‘em out, cut them between the colored lines, and fold them over like a hamburger (you know… instead of a hot dog.  I hope I’m not the only one that uses that analogy!!!).

My kids get a huge kick out of them… hope yours do too!!!  : )

My baby and I have been doing some serious hanging-out.  It’s ridiculously fun to have one little peanut following me around all day… she’s loving the one-on-one time and I must admit… it’s pretty special!  I am reminded, once again, how important it is to sneak a little time alone with each of my kids on a regular basis so that we can really talk… not just exist together.  Anyway… I popped this picture on Facebook yesterday, but thought it was worth sharing again:
