Today when I checked the weather on weather.com, the words that described the day were “abundant sunshine.” It was so true! Even though it wasn’t *quite* as warm as it has been the past few days, I was just loving the streams of sunlight peeking through my windows. Happy, happy, happy!
Speaking of abundant sunshine, we’ve been going outside more and more lately! There’s a park close to my home that a family & I visited the other evening, just before sunset. Isn’t this gal sweet?

We made spring appear with a dozen yellow tulips (and a little help from Photoshop!). Funny how those will make all the difference! : )

Her baby brother was doing some pretty adorable things in the studio:

Here’s another scale shot…. Have I told you guys about this scale? My great-grandfather was a physician in Hinsdale… his office was run out of his basement in the early 1900s, which was professionally set up with a number of different patient rooms. As a girl, my sisters, cousins, and I absolutely LOVED playing down there, since it was also the home of my grandparents. Anyway… he delivered many, many babies, which were weighed on this very scale:

Isn’t that the coolest thing?!?
I loved this shot:

A little bit later that evening the coolest family came to the studio for some shots of their 8 week old twin boys and their big (7 year old!) brother. They were adorable!!!
One asleep…

And one awake…

And the prize for the awesome-est big brother goes to… : )

(And yes, I know that “awesome-est” isn’t really a word. But it SO applies!!!)
*** Tomorrow I’ll be giving away the free monthly session… sorry I’m a few days late on that!
