We laid out her clothes last night, got up and ate a healthy breakfast, gave her a quick tub and did her hair, got her dressed, put on her shoes, grabbed her lunch, walked out the door, then stood…  Though I’ve mentioned the church that my husband pastors from time-to-time , I do try, for the most part, to keep any thoughts that could be classified as “religious” separate from my musings here on the blog. Religion, as a whole, can be an incredibly touchy subject for many; I happen to believe that our thoughts…  Happy weekend everyone!!! At this point, every family who’s had a session up to this point in 2011 has now had the…  This afternoon I met with a few darling families out at Cantigny, one of the most beautiful parks in Chicago’s Western Suburbs. Everything was going along quite *perfectly* (if I do say so myself!) when, quite out of nowhere, the sirens began to sound and a very dark sky blew in above us. Needless to…  We’ve been spending some fabulous time up at our family’s lakehouse in Wisconsin these past few days… I must say, there’s nothing quite like “lake time”! It’s such a sweet place to spend the Fourth of July… quite a few families around the lake put on their own little fireworks shows (it’s legal in Wisconsin!!!)…
