Today’s such a fun day to post!  I had a wonderful time yesterday with a couple of families, including little “Z” ‘s family out in Naperville.  I’ve been honored to do her newborn and three-month portraits, and yesterday this beautiful girl was doing some fabulous work in front of the camera for her six-month shoot.  There are lots of things I just love about this family, but I think the thing that stands out to me the most is how unashamedly they adore their baby girl.  They love her more and more each time we meet, and it’s easy to see why:

I squealed with delight when I walked into their bedroom… they had framed some newborn photos of baby “Z” and put them above their bed in a stunning display.  I HAD to include them in a picture of her now… : )

I could post a million from this session, but then there wouldn’t be any surprises for mom and dad, would there? : )

Next… I wanted to wait to post one from a Sunday session, because they were the one-year pictures of little “C”, who is one year old TODAY!  Happy birthday, little buddy!  This guy is extra special to me, because I’ve been so blessed to get to know his family through maternity, newborn, 3-month, 6-month, 9-months, and now one year pictures!  He’s adorable and sweet and perfect!  There’s more to come, but here’s a fun one from the day…

And finally…

Two years ago, we welcomed our very own sweet baby boy into the world!  It’s so hard to believe that he’s TWO today… still such a little guy, but getting ready to be a big brother, too!  What a blast this life is… : )

(And yes, for those of you wondering… he IS this cute and happy in real-life!)
