Would you or anyone you know like a free newborn session?  I’ve got a few newborn poses up my sleeve that I’ve been hoping to try, and I’d like to have a session in my studio where we could focus specifically on one or two of them.  These poses might require a bit of flexibility and involvement on the part of the parents.  I would, of course, give more details to anyone who might be interested!

Ideally, I’d love to have a baby around a week old, so let me know if you’re either (quite) pregnant or you’ve just had a baby and you’d be interested in trying out some fun and beautiful new shots with your little one.  The session itself would be free-of-charge, and would include a high-resolution CD of the edited images, but no included prints.  E-mail me by clicking the “contact” link above if you think this free session might be for you! : )

And there are SO many things to talk about!  Two biggies to start off with… a new blog and a refinished studio!  I’m so excited to get this blog up and rolling for you all to enjoy.  The pictures will be huge, the colors are much more fun, and it will be jam-packed with helpful info as I continue to add to it over the next few weeks.  I will be posting a blog entry this week specifically on how to leave comments… it’s so fun to hear from you guys every now and then, and among the hundreds of subscribers, I’m hoping to hear a bit more from you all this year after I show you how (it’s amazingly easy on this blog!).  No need to have a one-sided conversation, right? : )

Secondly, we’ve Jonathan’s been working his tail off in the studio redoing the floor, painting, and getting things just *perfect* for the new year.  Yay yay yay!  I’d show you a picture of it in progress, but it looks like a bomb has exploded in there and I’m going to spare you all.  As soon as it’s done I promise I’ll show it here on the blog, though.  SO fun!

We were out-of-town from the 27th through the 31st, but I managed to slip in one more 2008 family on the 26th… it’s the beautiful “K” family!  I’m excited to showcase these images in full-color!

Their middle child, “P”, is such an easygoing guy, and I’ve always loved capturing his fun expressions:

Sweet Miss “K” looked like a snow princess!  She’s a natural in front of the camera…

Baby “E” (not so much a baby anymore!) was not sure what on earth we were doing out in the snow in just our sweaters.  Still, though, she shot me some awesome looks…
